Â Â Â Tsinghua University began research and development of OLED technology in 1996. In 2001, Visionox was established to carry out production technology development and production line design and construction. In 2009, Tsinghua University and Visionox jointly completed the organic light-emitting display (OLED) materials, devices and industrialization projects won the first prize of the China Electronics Society Electronic Information Science and Technology Award, the highest award for scientific and technological achievements in China's electronic information industry. . Although OLED is a new generation of flat panel display technology, it is in the early stage of industrialization, but it has broad application prospects in the future. Application prospects. Depending on the driving method, there are two types of OLEDs, one is a passive driving type OLED (PMOLED), and the other is an active driving type OLED (AMOLED). The development of medium and small-sized OLEDs is the first stage of the development of OLED technology industry. The development of future technologies and industries includes three directions: development of high-quality, ultra-thin, large-size AMOLEDs based on PMOLED; development of planes and provinces A new generation of lighting sources with soft, soft light; the development of low-cost printing preparation techniques and bendable flexible devices. From the application field, OLED products are mainly used in consumer electronics such as mobile phones and MP3s, as well as small and medium-sized display fields such as industrial control instruments, medical devices, and vehicle displays. With the advancement of technology, the application of OLED products in the future will be expanded to large-scale fields such as computers and color TVs and lighting. While developing and industrializing small and medium-sized OLED technology, Visionox is also actively promoting the development of OLED cutting-edge technology. In terms of OLED soft display, Tsinghua University and Visionox are among the few units that can produce flexible OLED display devices and flexible lighting devices.
